👏👏 We very often recommend this restaurant to our guests at the Ferienhaus zum Sonnensegel in Meiersberg. After a visit, they thank you for this tip and are all very enthusiastic. All dishes are freshly prepared. The pasta with tomato sauce is even made for the children. Waitress rather unfriendly and spoke about bringing the main course to the minute ... was important so that you can eat the tiny salad quickly enough ... schnitzel cooks crispy ... fries lax ... the red cabbage at the steak is served in a 3 cm cup ... If you pay 25 euros for that ... Steak was very good and to the point ...

We were very pleasantly surprised. Bad Düben is not necessarily a world metropolis, but it was very good. The staff was very nice, courteous and absolutely competent even in stressful situations. The menu is manageable, which definitely makes it pleasant because you don't have to fight your way through for half an hour. The food then sealed it. Very, very tasty! We ended up here by recommendation and celebrated our wedding on 08/08/2020, the food was very tasty all 58 people praised the food very much (buffet) my personal highlight was the rabbit 😋😋😋 with the delicious sauce (fantastic). The service staff noticeably enjoy their work! The bar area is super modern! Clear recommendation. (I can't understand 1-2 recessions here, they were probably written by the competition). The food was great as always, the ambience was beautifully modern and the decoration for this special day fully corresponded to our taste. I find it so sympathetic when people make their dream come true in gastronomy. For me this is unfortunately not enough to run a restaurant. The dining room looks like a furniture store for gastronomy. The drinks menu, which may not be available through Corona, carries exactly 6 wines - dry, semi-dry and lovely. Ever white and red. All rather industrial quality from a liter bottle - little competence, more wholesale. The menu felt like steak house paired with tavern paired with Tex-Mex. No discernible style apart from artificial and forced creativity. I personally prefer to leave classics in peace and to add two dishes to the menu that are creative but coherent. I don't need a Mexican salsa for pork schnitzel. Homemade salmon with rösti and wasabi yoghurt. Homemade, coherent, regional, you can think further in this direction! One of two, quite uncreative, vegetarian dishes - tagliatelle with (homemade!) Pesto - had more cocktail tomatoes than pesto AND a sprig of currants on it. I regret not taking a picture of it. But what the hell are currants doing on a pasta dish? Firstly, I assumed that fruit decorations had been extinct for what felt like 20 years, and secondly, I had never seen cocktail tomatoes, let alone fruit, in Italy for pesto. Especially not in double the amount of pesto. Why not throw all the fruit decorations in a bowl and send fruit salad as a greeting from the kitchen? Same cost of goods, less for the ton .. The entrecote with fried potatoes was delicious. However, I don't understand why the most wonderful Pomeranian cattle graze in the pasture 20 minutes away and Argentinian entrecote from the wholesaler is on the menu. I find that neither contemporary nor understandable. You can tell that there is a lot of love and commitment involved. The dishes are as freshly prepared and freshly cooked as possible. But you also notice that gastronomy experience and training is missing here. I hope that I can come back here in 2-3 years and find a card that puts German wines, targeted creativity and regional products in the foreground. We wish you continued success! Unfortunately for me it was nothing.

Insider tip. Inconspicuous and almost impossible to find without instructions. Super friendly. Great food. Have not been so happy with a restaurant. Small but nice menu. Everything fresh. Lovely again.

A very nice restaurant. You would not have expected the ambience before you opened the door. We were there with a 20-man company and ordered a "buffet". Our wishes were completely fulfilled. We were very satisfied. And the toilets were super clean. The only drawback: we were charged at the price more than discussed! We were told that per person 7.50 € will be charged. In the end it was 10,50 € for adults. In addition, we would be charged service packages, which we were not informed in advance! That could at least have been mentioned by the operator.
